Laurel Island will be organized around a public realm that supports a high-quality bicyclist and pedestrian experience. Bicycle and pedestrian connectivity will be provided at all three of Laurel Island's access points to encourage connectivity from the City's existing networks, including the Lowline.

On the island, bicycle and pedestrian facilities will be incorporated in most of the streets and cyclists and pedestrians will have access to the waterfront and perimeter parks.
